Medora - A Bully Bash will be held Sept. 13 in Medora to commemorate Theodore Roosevelt's 150th birthday. Events will include a reenactment of Roosevelt's inauguration at 11 a.m. at the Old Town Hall Theater, a living history presentation of Medora and the Marquis de Mores at 1 p.m. at the chateau interpretive center and a 3 p.m. "The Legendary Theodore Roosevelt" presentation at the Burning Hills amphitheater, followed by a buffalo pit barbeque. Also, Badlands Ministries will hold its 28th annual fall event starting at 11 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Medora Community Center. The event includes worship, a barbecued chicken dinner, an auction and lefse sale. Proceeds go toward Badlands Ministries camp.

Bowman - The Rural Women in America conference will be held Sept. 20 at the 4 Seasons Pavilion in Bowman, starting with registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by a day of inspirational speakers, workshops, food and entertainment. Killdeer - A rural health care public meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer. The Wilson Health Planning Collaborative is holding public meetings to discuss health care in 11 counties and the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

Braddock - The 34th annual South Central Thresher's Association Threshing Bee and Antique Show will be held Saturday and Sunday at Braddock. The event includes a flea market, threshing, rock crushing, sawmill, engine display, print shop, old-time saloon, pioneer village and a chuck wagon. Admission is $5.
Strasburg - The Strasburg Knights of Columbus will hold an auction at noon Sunday at the knights' hall in Strasburg.
