Most of the soldiers from the North Dakota National Guard's 34th Engineer Brigade have made it back to state today. The unit just completed a year-long mobilization in Iraq.

About 30 soldiers have taken commercial flights from Camp Atterbury, Ind., to Bismarck, Fargo and Grand Forks. Nine Bismarck soldiers missed their connection, however, and are expected to arrive here shortly before 4 p.m. Their flight number will be NW1705. The public is invited to welcome them home.
