Five people have been charged for allegedly dealing in stolen copper wire.
Jeffrey Anderson, Delmar Enzi Jr., Jason Enzi, Shannon Peltier and Hayley Wanner were charged on Wednesday with dealing in stolen property, a Class Cfelony. They are accused of dealing in copper wire stolen from Don's Electric. The scheme was alleged to have taken place from Sept. 18 to Oct. 23.
Anderson and Delmar Enzi Jr. also were charged with Class C felony theft of property and Class A misdemeanor criminal trespass for allegedly stealing copper wire from a fenced area belonging to Don's Electric, located at 1926 Frontier Drive in Bismarck.
Anderson, Peltier and Wanner appeared in court on Monday afternoon after being arrested on warrants for the alleged crimes.
South Central District Judge Sonna Anderson set bond for Anderson at $1,500 cash and allowed Peltier and Wanner released on their promises to appear. She prohibited the defendants from having contact or going into Don's Electric.
Burleigh County Assistant State's Attorney Pam Nesvig, who is handling the case, said warrants have been issued for the arrests of Delmar Enzi Jr. and Jason Enzi.
