It was business as usual Wednesday at the YMCA after a water main break disrupted activity Tuesday.
Bill Bauman, operations director, said staff at the YMCA noticed some "bubbling" in the boulevard Monday afternoon and by that evening the center was without water.
Bauman said with the number of utilities buried along the north side of the building, locating and digging down to main was time consuming.
He the said the main disruption came to the day care and after-school programs.
Bauman said staff members were on the phones late into the night Monday, notifying parents there would be no da y care of after-school programs Tuesday.
About 350 children attend day care there, he said.
"We felt it best to notify parents as early as possible to make alternate plans for Tuesday. Our membership was very understanding."
Members were still able to use the gym, equipment and the pool, but showers were not available.
Bauman said the main was repaired by about midnight Tuesday.
