Hettinger - The Hettinger Golf Association's third annual surf 'n turf dinner will be held starting at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hettinger Country Club. Medora - Wibaux, Mont., rancher and cowboy poet, and musician Bob Petermann will perform at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chateau de Mores State Historic Site Interpretive Center in Medora. David Taylor also will be at the center to talk about the Medora Stage Co. He'll be in character as Skinny Wallace.

Dunn Center - The annual St. Patrick's Day celebration will be held Saturday in Dunn Center, with lunch at the Dunn City Hall, a parade at 4 p.m., followed by corned beef, cabbage and dancing afterward.

Beach - A community forum that's "All About Kids," will provide answers about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and adults will contribute their opinions on the topic. It's open to everyone and will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Beach High School. Also, the 79th annual meeting of the Farmers Union Oil Co., of Beach, will be held starting with dinner at 6 p.m. March 18 at the American Legion Club in Beach.

Rainy Butte - The Rainy Butte Township annual meeting and election will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 17 at the John Kathrein residence. The township's equalization meeting will be held at 8:15 p.m. April 13, also at the Kathrein residence.
