Bismarck State College holding open house

Bismarck State College will hold a parent-student open house for its power plant technology and process plant technology programs from 5 to 8 p.m. May 1 at the Technical Center.

Geared toward high school students (freshmen through seniors), the event is designed to introduce students to BSC's energy programs.

Instructors will be on hand to answer questions, along with representatives from the ethanol, refining and power generation industries.

Attendees also can visit with staff from BSC admissions and financial aid.

The event includes tours of the training labs and classrooms and a drawing for a $1,000 BSC scholarship.
