Thefts from three cars are reported
Thefts from three motor vehicles occurred in Bismarck in the Friday-Saturday time frame, according to Bismarck police reports.
The first, which resulted in the theft of a $65 toolbox and $15 garage opener, occurred sometime between 2 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday in the 1100 of Westwood Street. The owner couldn't remember if he had locked the car.
The second, which resulted in the theft of $1,250 in stereo equipment, occurred sometime between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of West Capitol Avenue. The victim, a Bismarck man, 20, told police also taken was $20 from his billfold, which had been in the car.
The third occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday. A purse with various items inside, a $50 loss, was taken from a vehicle in the 1400 block of East Ingals Avenue.
Police found no signs of forced entry involved with the three vehicles.
