A graduation ceremony today will honor 42 graduates of Rasmussen College. The ceremony starts 7 p.m. at the Heritage Center.
Two of the students will be awarded the first bachelor's degrees conferred by the college. The bachelor's degree is in business administration, which the college started offering as a four-year degree in May 2006. The remainder of the students are receiving associate degrees and diplomas in areas such as accounting, criminal justice, medical transcription, human resources and secretarial.
The guest speaker at the ceremony is Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle.
