Fort Union Trading Post will have a series of programs and activities taking place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. during the Fourth of July.
Ranger Jamie Peters will present ongoing programs featuring various American Indian games.
Ranger Dave Carr will offer period flintlock rifle firing demonstrations.
In addition, there will be a featured program presented by ranger Shannon Meyer at 2 p.m., entitled "The Science of Art."
Fort Union Trading Post is located 24 miles north of Sidney, Mont., and 25 miles southwest of Williston via Highway 1804.
