A weekend vandalism spree in Bismarck has resulted in damage to at least 25 vehicles at an estimated cost of more than $3,000.
On Friday night, vandals struck in northeast Bismarck, smashing windows and causing dents and scratches on 13 vehicles, mostly by using rocks, Bismarck Police Lt. Doug Ketterling said.
That spree caused an estimated $1,500 in damage.
On Sunday, police were busy taking reports about slashed tires on vehicles in southwest Bismarck, Ketterling said. Police had taken 12 reports by 5 p.m., and damage was estimated at $1,700.
Police didn't know if there was a connection, Ketterling said, and police are investigating.
