Samuel Garfield, 21, who is a convicted sex offender, is now living at 2520 E. Broadway Ave., #16, in Bismarck (click here to view map).

According to the North Dakota attorney general's sex offender Web site, Garfield was convicted in September 2005 for promoting an obscene performance by a minor.

A release from the Bismarck Police Department said Garfield enlisted three females younger than 18 years old to pose in various stages of undress and took photos of them.

Garfield was released from incarceration Aug. 28. He had been living in Mandan prior to moving to Bismarck.

Garfield is considered a moderate risk offender, the release said.

Garfield is not wanted by police and has served the sentence imposed by law.

According to the police release, the information is being shared with the public for safety reasons only.
