OAKES (AP) - A manufacturing company is laying off 30 more workers at its plant in Oakes.

Kirsten Skyba is a spokeswoman for JLG Industries Inc. She says the layoffs will bring the Oakes plant's work force to about 100 employees by the end of the year.

Skyba said about 1,400 JLG employees have been laid off worldwide in 2008.

The company makes aerial work platform lifts for commercial and military use. The Oakes plant manufactures hydraulic cylinders.

JLG Industries, based in McConnellsburg, Pa., also has plants in Asia, Australia, Europe and South America.
