Child care providers are invited to attend the Nutrition for North Dakota Children food program workshop, "Rise and Dine," to be held in Bismarck on April 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Charity Lutheran Church, 120 Aspen Ave. The workshop will help child care providers "rise and dine" to enhance the nutritional value of their breakfast menus in easy, creative ways. Child care providers will also learn how to actively engage children in learning to eat well through hands-on food lessons and take home sheets.
