The Bismarck-Mandan Safety Council and Region VII Safe and Drug Free Communities Program are sponsoring three car safety seat roundups to collect old and unsafe car seats.

The roundups, which are held in conjunction with monthly car seat checkups, will be as follows:

n 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Schwan GM Auto Center

n 3-6 p.m. May 13, Stan Puklich Chevrolet

n 3-6 p.m. June 10 , Bill Barth Ford

Unsafe car seats include those that are older than 6 years, have been in a crash, have an unknown history, are broken or have parts missing, have unrepaired recalls or are in poor condition.
