With the magic that is spread through Make-A-Wish Foundation, yet another wish has been granted.

Sarah Kennedy, 16, of Bismarck will be cruising the Caribbean from Sunday to Wednesday. Kennedy, who is battling cancer, is having her wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Dakota.

Kennedy, her parents, Mark and Judy, and sister, Elizabeth, will be picked up by a limo and taken to the Bismarck airport today for their flight. They will arrive in Orlando, Fla., and stay for a night before embarking on a Disney cruise ship.

The ship will be taking them to the island of Nassau, where they will participate in a snorkeling adventure. After Nassau, they head for Castaway Cay, where they will be kayaking, going on a banana boat ride and parasailing.

The family will be returning to Bismarck on Thursday.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Since its start in 1985, the North Dakota chapter has granted nearly 500 wishes to children across the state, at an average cost of $5,500 a wish. Kennedy's wish has been funded by United Health Care.
