Mott - A special tribute to Margaret Blickensderfer of Mott, longtime member of the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra, will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Playhouse Theater in Mott. The symphony's string quartet will perform and a reception in her honor will be held afterward. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Cross Ranch State Park - The Cross Ranch State Park near Hensler will remain open throughout the year, but water hydrants will be drained Sept. 29. The bathrooms outside the visitor center will remain open year-round.
