Funnel clouds were spotted west of Mandan, setting off tornado warnings for the two cities until nearly 7:30 p.m.

Both Morton and Burleigh counties continue to still be in severe thunderstorm warnings, according to the National Weather Service in Bismarck.

A meteorologist said the storms could continue into the evening, bringing dangerous hail and lightening. The National Weather Service will continue to watch storms moving into the area; several counties are reporting large hail, inculding a report of softball-sized hail west of Washburn.
