MINOT, N.D. (AP) - State Fair attendance was up this year, officials say.

The fair reported a total of 248,501 visitors over its nine-day run last week, up 531 from last year.

Jessica Bullinger, the fair's marketing director, said the closing night concert of Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy brought in 7,609 people.
