On Sept. 10, Catherine Hayes will be the speaker at two workshops sponsored by the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities.
She'll speak from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in the Minot State University Student Center's Audubon Room. Hayes, president of H &W Independent Solutions Inc., has more than 30 years of experience with a primary focus in the field of developmental disabilities.
The NDCPD also is sponsoring the same workshops in Bismarck and Grand Forks. At the Bismarck-Comfort Inn on Sept. 9 and the Grand Forks-Development Homes Inc. on Sept. 11.
The fee for each workshop is $40. Three Continuing Education Units for each workshop are available pending approval through Minot State. The recording fee for MSU CEUs is $20. Each workshop also qualifies for three contact hours for North Dakota social workers and nurses.
