A new Wendy's will go into the old north A&W and Long John Silver's, the new owner announced.

Jim Glatt told the Tribune this morning that he officially bought the empty building on Wednesday, and planned to begin renovations as quickly as this Monday.

Glatt said he hopes to open, if all goes well, within about two months.

The 3,300-square-foot building will seat about 70 people, Glatt said, after renovations. It currently seats 99.

He also said the Wendy's will employ about 32 part-time and full-time employees.
