WASHINGTON - The United States Interagency Council on Homelessness has given Gov. John Hoeven its "Home for Every American" Governor Award.

He was one of three governors to receive the honor on Thursday.

Alabama Gov. Bob Riley and Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. of Utah also received the award.

They were honored for their efforts to fight homelessness.
