The North Dakota Department of Transportation will be holding a public input meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. July 22 at the Sterling Lions Club to discuss proposed improvements to U.S. Highway 83.
The project consists of replacement of the railroad overhead structure. The open house meeting provides an opportunity for public comments. Representatives from the NDDOT will be on hand to answer questions.
If unable to attend the meeting, written statements or comments must be mailed by Aug. 5 to James Rath, Project Manager, Design Division, NDDOT, 608 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, N.D. 58505-0700. E-mails also may be sent to jrath@;nd.gov with "Public Input Meeting" in the e-mail subject heading.
People with disabilities who plan to attend the meeting and need special arrangements should contact James Rath, NDDOT, at 328-1722, and TTY: 328-4156.
