The N.D. Army National Guard will host a Freedom Salute ceremony and Homecoming Tribute for the Bismarck-based 34th Engineer Brigade. The event will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond J. Bohn Armory in Bismarck.
The event is open to the public.
The unit returned to North Dakota March 21 after serving in Iraq since April 2007.
The 34th Engineer Brigade completed more than 180 construction projects valued in excess of $440 million. They were stationed at 19 Forward Operating Bases throughout Iraq.
