MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Grain cars derailed early Wednesday on the northeast edge of this city, snarling traffic for a time, police said.
No one was hurt, and police said no hazardous material was involved when the cars left the track about 6:30 a.m.
"We have about eight grain cars that are derailed - as we understand they're not (tipped) over, just off the tracks," police Dispatcher Davon Beckman said.
Beckman said the rail crossing was temporarily blocked for people trying to get to work in the northeast part of Minot. It reopened shortly after 8 a.m.
