The Bismarck Police Department is asking the public for help in locating the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run accident on Friday.
Police are looking for a mid-sized black car that struck an 11-year-old boy. The car might have slight damage to its front end.
The accident happened between 2:40 and 3 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Tucson Avenue and Billings Drive.
According to a police report, the boy was not taken to the hospital, but he had several abrasions after being knocked off of his bike by the car.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a young white male who was wearing a baseball cap. The passenger was described as a white young male with dirty blond hair.
