Ahigh-risk sex offender is now living in Bismarck.

Scott Alan Jorde, 33, now lives at 2921 Homestead Drive.

Jorde, a lifetime registrant, was recently released from prison.

He was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2005 for having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl he met on the Internet.

He also has convictions from 1997 for corruption of a minor for having sex with a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl three days apart.

All of the offenses occurred in Bismarck.

According to a release from the Bismarck Police Department, the information is being given to the public for safety reasons.

"This information is not to be used to threaten, harass, assault or intimidate the registered offenders," the release said.
