Mandan police have arrested a man after finding three runaways in his home.
Curtis White Hawk, 21, was charged Friday with Class Amisdemeanor sexual assault and Class Amisdemeanor hindering law enforcement.
Morton County Assistant State's Attorney Brian Grosinger said White Hawk pleaded guilty to both charges on Friday afternoon.
South Central District Judge Donald Jorgensen sentenced White Hawk to one year with nine months suspended and two years of supervised probation on both counts, with the sentences to be served concurrently.
White Hawk will serve the three months at the Morton County Correctional Center, Grosinger said.
Det. Jon Vanderhoef said patrol officers went to a Mandan address late Wednesday afternoon to look for a runaway. Though they could hear people inside, no one would answer the door, he said.
The officers left to get a search warrant, and they and detectives went back to the house, Vanderhoef said. He said White Hawk was inside, along with three runaway minors, from Bismarck, Mandan and Minot.
White Hawk was in a relationship with the Minot runaway, a 16-year-old girl, Vanderhoef said.
