A Mandan High School teacher has received an associate fellowship with the National Science Teacher Association.
Natalie Eraas, a physical science and chemistry teacher, will be part of the new science teacher academy. It is a yearlong program of online activities. She also will attend the association's conference in March and a research conference or a professional development institute.
Eraas is the only teacher in North Dakota to receive this fellowship. She was one of 200 teachers selected from about 1,000 applications that were received from teachers across the country. The program is for middle and high school teachers who are beginning their careers.
