Sleepy Hollow Summer Theatre typically gives child actors a chance to show their stuff.

But now adults are getting a chance, too.

Instead of one musical this summer, the theater's 17th season will put on two musicals.

Actors ages 10-20 are needed for the musical "Hello Dolly,"which will be put on July 19-30; and a college-age cast, ages 18-23, is needed for the adult production of "The Fantasticks," which will have a run from Aug. 3-6 at the Sleepy Hollow Arts Park, at 26th Street and Divide Avenue.

Auditioners should attend an informational meeting at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Century High School Auditorium and sign up for an audition time on either Monday after the meeting or on Tuesday.

Auditions take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday and from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Auditioners should have a Broadway type song prepared. A pianist will be provided.

For actors who can't attend the auditions, send a tape and/or footage of a classical musical theater song performance, a monologue and a dance performance to Stephanie Delmore at 825 N. Griffin, Bismarck, N.D. 58501.

Job Christenson, an actor, singer, dancer and choreographer with Broadway and national experience, will be the director for both productions.

Sleepy Hollow also will be offering weeklong summer humanities classes in June. The registration deadline is May 31.

Registration forms may be picked up at Bismarck Parks and Recreation Office, Gallery 522 and Herberger's.

A class listing is online at www.shst.org.

For information about classes or plays, call Delmore at 258-6343 or 319-0894.
