BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Bismarck's MedCenter One health system has named Dr. Craig Lambrecht as its new chief operating officer.

Lambrecht has worked at Medcenter One for 17 years, and has been the medical officer for the state Health Department.

He also is a North Dakota National Guard surgeon who served at the Smith Gate clinic, a pediatric burn clinic in Iraq, and has been working to recruit doctors and money to keep the clinic in operation.
