A Bismarck man faces charges related to allegations he had a sexual relationship with a teenage girl and possessed child pornography.
Chad Boroff, 37, was charged Wednesday with Class C felony sexual assault, Class C felony possession of certain materials prohibited and Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
South Central District Judge David Reich set bond for Boroff at $15,000 cash.
Bismarck Police Lt. Randy Ziegler said detectives conducted a search of a Bismarck residence on Tuesday with a search warrant. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found during the search, as were sexually explicit photographs of a 17-year-old girl, he said.
According to a complaint signed by Bismarck Police Detective Darrin Heinert, Boroff is accused of having sexual contact with the 17-year-old girl between Nov. 15, 2007, and Jan. 15.
Boroff is accused of possessing one or more photographs depicting sexual conduct involving the girl. He also has been charged with possessing drug paraphernalia associated with marijuana.
Boroff was charged with the offenses following an investigation, Ziegler said.
