Prime Steer Blues Saloon in Mandan will hold a street fair and barbecue today. This is a family event, including music, a beer garden and outdoor grill, and kids activities. Secure parking is available, providing a view of fireworks in the evening.
Kids activities include face painting, balloon animals and inflatable jumping tent and jousting. A barbecue buffet is available inside from noon to 8 p.m. Music, a beer garden and an outdoor grill starts at 3 p.m.
The musical entertainment includes performances by Old Five and Dimers, local bluegrass, country and folk; Low Down Dirty Dogs, local blues, country and rock; Ben Suchy Band, local delta folk, rock and Americana; The Broken Bricks, local blues and rock; The Warped Melon Blues Band, Fargo blues; and Union Pulse, Milwaukee, Wis., alternative and folk rock.
