Bismarck couple face more theft charges

A Bismarck couple faces more charges related to a string of car burglaries in the area in February and March, court documents say.

David Kissee, 25, and Amelia Kissee, 20, have been charged for breaking in to vehicles and stealing property inside from Feb. 23 to March 23, according to court documents.

David Kissee was charged on March 27 with seven felonies, and Amelia Kissee was charged with eight felonies and one misdemeanor.

David Kissee was charged Wednesday with three more felonies and two misdemeanors, and Amelia Kissee was charged with three more felonies and one more misdemeanor.

Assistant State's Attorney Brandi Sasse Russell said more charges probably will be filed against the couple as more evidence becomes available.

"They keep getting more and more,"Russell said.

David Kissee has been charged with unlawful entry to motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit theft of property, and theft of property.

Amelia Kissee has been charged with forgery, accomplice to unlawful entry to motor vehicle, theft of property, conspiracy to commit theft of property, and possession of stolen property.

According to court documents, they are slated to appear in court on Monday on their first set of charges and on May 24 for their second set.
