Starting this Thursday, the Emter family will try to get people into the Christmas spirit by performing their Christmas concert. Concerts will be held at the Emter Family Theater off of Interstate 94, at exit 140.
The Emter family band consists of Renae and Roger Emter performing with their four children and their grandkids. The Emters have been involved in music for 19 years and enjoy playing their music for others. They love the feedback they get from the audience.
"It's been a joy to bring happiness to people's faces as we play our music," Renae Emter said.
Shows run until Dec. 22. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday to Monday every week. On Saturdays and Sundays they also play an additional show at 2 p.m. The concerts are usually about an hour and a half, and tickets cost $10, plus tax. Kids 6 and under are free. With the purchase of a ticket, audiences will receive an Emter family CD.
