A Bismarck man has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
Tyson Redstone, 19, entered the not guilty plea to the Class Afelony to South Central District Judge Sonna Anderson on Monday afternoon.
Redstone is accused of stabbing his mother's 36-year-old boyfriend in the chest during a fight on the 1000 block of Bozeman Drive on Nov. 11.
According to a police report, the alleged victim began walking toward police who arrived at the scene with the knife still dangling from his shirt. He was taken to a local hospital, as was Redstone's 48-year-old mother, who had minor cuts. She was treated and released.
Police said the three people live together.
Redstone remains in the custody of the Burleigh County Detention Center in lieu of a $20,000 cash or surety bond.
