3:55 a.m. - A 40-year-old Bismarck man was sentenced to about 2 1/2 months in jail for forcing a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl to perform sex acts, one of which dated back to 2001.

Tracy Brosseau pleaded guilty Friday to felony corruption of a minor and misdemeanor contributing to the deprovation of a child. A felony gross sexual imposition charge was reduced to the misdemeanor as part of a plea agreement, Burleigh County prosecutor Julie Lawyer said.

A 14-year-old Bismarck girl told police that Brosseau took her to his house in July and wouldn't let her leave until she performed oral sex on a 19-year-old Bismarck boy, Lawyer said. The 19-year-old pleaded guilty to corruption of a minor in December.

During the investigation of the sex crimes, Bismarck police detectives discovered that between June and September of 2001, Brosseau engaged in a sex act with the teenage boy who was 16 at the time.

Brosseau was sentenced to one year in jail with all but 60 days suspended for two years for corruption of a minor and one year with all but 15 days suspended for two years for contributing to the deprovation of a child. The sentences are to run consecutive. Probation started immediately, but Brosseau won't start his jail sentence until Dec. 20.

Brosseau's criminal history includes a few driving under the influence of alcohol convictions, Lawyer said.
