A fire at a Bismarck home apparently was started by a malfunctioning computer.

Bismarck Police Lt. Randy Ziegler said the fire at 739 Brome Loop was reported at 6:14 p.m. A neighbor noticed a window bulging and told the homeowner, who was outside.

Ziegler did not have information on what kind of damages the fire caused.
