A 34-year-old Bismarck man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting two 16-year-old boys to perform oral sex.

Sgt. Dwight Offerman said the man was arrested Monday afternoon after an investigation that included using surveillance photos from Century High School.

Offerman said two 16-year-old boys reported a man approached them outside Century High School on Friday afternoon and asked if they would perform oral sex on him.

The 17-year-old brother of one of the boys overheard the exchange, and said "get out of here" to his brother, Offerman said. He said the man must have thought the 17-year-old was talking to him, because he left.

Offerman said the man is being held in the Burleigh County Detention Center pending formal charges.
