A Mandan mobile home was destroyed by fire Monday morning.

Mandan Police Sgt. Jay Gruebele said the fire at 208 10th Ave. S.E. was reported at 9:06 a.m.

One person was in the house when the fire broke out but escaped uninjured, Gruebele said.He said the home belongs to Jan Desjarlais.

The fire, which may have been started by a candle, is still under investigation.

"It doesn't appear to be suspicious," Gruebele said.
