Charles F. Hunt, a convicted sex offender, is now living at 210 Seventh Ave. NW inMandan.

According to a release from the Mandan Police Department, Hunt was convicted in 2001 of terrorizing and gross sexual imposition. The North Dakota attorney general's sex offender Web site said the offenses occurred in Ward County.

The victim was an adult female with whom Hunt had a relationship, the police release said. It said Hunt served four years and was released in May 2005.

Hunt is considered a moderate-risk offender, police said. He is not wanted by law enforcement at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.

"This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community,"the police release said. "It is the belief of the Mandan Police Department that an informed public is a safer public."
