Someone burglarized a Bismarck woman's apartment while she showered, police say.

Officer Pat Renz said the 34-year-old Bismarck woman called police at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday to report having her purse, wallet, some cash and credit and debit cards stolen from her northeast Bismarck apartment.

The woman told officers she was in the shower sometime between 7 and 7:10 p.m. and heard a knock on her door, followed by an unfamiliar man's voice saying hello, Renz said.

He said the woman later noticed her purse and its contents were missing from her apartment.

The door to the apartment was unlocked, Renz said.
