The Burleigh County Highway Department will be replacing a bridge structure crossing the east branch of Apple Creek, approximately six miles north of McKenzie on 249th Street Northeast.
To accommodate traffic, an on-site detour will be provided to continue traffic movement through the area during construction.
The existing bridge will be closed and the detour will be put into use Monday, and will remain in use until approximately Oct. 6, depending on the suitable construction weather.
