A Rural Community Forum, developed to begin a statewide discussion of shared issues, will be held June 13.

The forum will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 13 at the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck. The registration fee is $20 and covers lunch and materials.

The event will focus on five issues, each to be discussed in an interactive panel format. The issues:

n Reuse of school buildings.

n Community operated businesses.

n Bringing tourism to your community

n Local foods: growing and eating locally

n Community sustainability through community endowment.
