The Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign with the Mandan Rodeo raised $7,000 for the American Cancer Society. The rodeo committee donated the money on Monday.

Funds were raised from a raffle, a portion of ticket sales and a portion of proceeds from the sale of a poster. The raffle was for a one-carat diamond ring donated by Schumacher's Diamond Cutters and Jewelers, $500 in Mandan Bucks and a $150 gift certificate from Hair For You Salon & Day Spa. A dollar for each ticket sold for the July 3 rodeo performance and $2 from the sale of each commemorative Mandan Rodeo Days poster featuring cancer survivor and Miss Rodeo America 2007 Ashley Andrews also went toward the fundraiser.

Winners for the raffle were drawn July 3. The winner of the diamond ring is Dee Persson of Bismarck. Receiving the $500 in Mandan Bucks is Adrian Crowfeather of Bismarck and Kristen Meidinger of Bismarck won the Hair For You Salon gift certificate.
