Gov. John Hoeven and first lady Mikey Hoeven have opened the Governor's Residence to hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
United Blood Services reports they are facing a critical blood shortage.
Donors will be treated to ice cream, pizza, door prizes, as well as an opportunity to visit the residence, 1131 N. Fourth St.
Donors must be at least 16 years old. To make an appointment or for eligibility questions, call 255-3520. Donors also can make appointments online at www.bloodhero.org.
