United Tribes Technical College will announce the recipients of the 2008 David M. Gipp Scholarships at a dinner April 30 at the college.

The "Journey To Excellence" dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. at the campus cafeteria. Friends and supporters are invited to attend at $50 per plate.

The event will include tribal entertainment, specially designed tribal art pieces and talks by students who have received support for their education.

Proceeds will help the student scholarship fund which is named for the college president, who has served United Tribes for 31 years.
