3:45 p.m. - A 27-year-old Bismarck man faces a maximum of 40 years in prison for raping a 15-year-old girl on Saturday.

Elvert D. Mack, formerly of Texas, was charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition Monday after he forced the teen to engage in two separate sex acts, Burleigh County prosecutor Cynthia Feland said. Mack is being held in the Burleigh County jail on a $10,000 cash bond on the class A felonies.

Feland said the victim knew Mack, but they were not dating and the sex acts were not consensual. Feland said there was force involved.
