JAMESTOWN - Bill Gross, president and founder of Farm Rescue, has been invited to speak at the 2008 Republican National Convention next week in St. Paul, Minn.
Gross will deliver his speech on Monday, the first day of the GOP convention. His remarks will reflect the theme selected for the convention's first night: service and putting others first.
Gross founded Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization designed to help farm families that have experienced a major injury, illness or natural disaster.
Gross, a UPS Airlines Boeing 747 captain, recently received recognition as a CNN Hero and was featured in People magazine as one of the "Heroes Among Us."
