Two men were arrested following a fight at a Mandan motel.

Chief Dennis Bullinger said two West Virginia men were arrested after police broke up the fight at The Ridge Motel, 2630 Old Red Trail N.W.

Officers were called to the motel at 12:58 a.m. Wednesday for a large fight occurring inside and outside. The first responding officer saw a man falling down, then found a group of people fighting in the lobby, Bullinger said.

Eventually, officers learned that the two West Virginia men had been in the bar and allegedly began bothering an employee in the bar, Bullinger said. He said other people intervened, and the fight began.

Alcohol was involved in the incident, he said.
