Bowman - The third annual Relay for Life of Bowman County will be held June 12 and 13 at the James Field in Bowman. Events start with cancer survivors' registration and a picnic at 4:30 p.m., and the opening ceremony will start at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to participate and there will be special laps and entertainment all night long.

Mott - Memorial Day will be observed at 10 a.m. today at the Mott-Regent High School gym, with an address by District 8 American Legion commander Patrick Mischel. There will be services at the river and cemetery afterward, followed by lunch at the Hettinger County fair building in Mott. Also, a bicycle safety course for children ages 4 through 12 will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mott swimming pool parking lot.
